--Breaking into the Industry --

Rhode Island, July 2011 - In due time, all champions have to pass the torch. Is the entertainment industry ready for a new generation of eager and ambitious actors? The film industry is indeed a cut throat organization, but that doesn't stop an up an coming stunt actor named Mitchell Mack from achieving his goals.

Born and raised in Detroit MI, Mitchell has trained as a martial artist for over 15+ yrs and a total of 3 yrs. training in stunts, acrobatics and parkour.

After going to many film auditions, he was invited to attend the Indie Gathering Film Festival in Ohio. Some of the people he met there really helped him get a further grasp of what he was getting himselg into. One man in particular took Mitchell Mack under his wing. This man's name is Drew Evans, a 10 year veteran in the entertainment industry.

After receiving a plethora of insight in both stunts and professionalism, he got his first real stunt job in the state of Michigan via. word of mouth where he did stunt doubling for Jon Michael Hill who played Detective Damon Washington for ABC'S Detroit 1-8-7 T.V. series. Shortly after, he was told by Drew to diversify his talent. So, as the pursuit of success continued, he was given another great opportunity to display more of his talent in two commercials, one with Dharma Nutrition and another with Kettle Bells and Fitness where he did grip work and served as Director of Photagraphy in the state of Rhode Island.

Since then, he continued to audition and got the chance to play multiple roles in the TIGER IN THE DARK: Final Conflict. After the final casting decisions were made, he got selected to play the role as the infamous Virus D. Which will later branch off into Mitchell Mack taking part in his first full length feature film. Shooting will begin late summer of 2011.

After the trailer was completed, it amazingly got recognition to be a short film and a questionaire took place as a result. Here is what Mitchell Mack had to say about one of the questions asked about playing the Virus D role. "Its all a matter of perspective. VIRUS isn't a real person. You have to remember that Virus is more of a dark side, sort of like and internal demon. My job in this film is to bring a non existing entity to reality."

Recently, Mitchell has earned a position in the T.V. Pilot called "UNFAMOUS". For him this is another opportunity to catapult himself further into the industry. I'm sure from this point on he will continue to do nothing but great and positive things.
