Ranjitha against Sun TV

Remember the Videos that took TV audience to a grave shock last year? The Videos repeatedly telecasted by Sun TV showing Ranjitha in a compromising position with the god-man Nithyananda in his ashram during March 2010 made big news and raised many questions about the actress and the ashram.

The same Ranjitha is in news now. The actress who went exile after the shocking incident in her life is now back in Chennai. The beleaguered actress met the press yesterday and lambasted the Sun TV network and other people who were responsible for outraging her modesty. She claimed the video to be a morphed one and stressed that it was not her who is appearing in the video.

When the press people quizzed why she went exile she reasoned that she had a life threat here in Chennai from some elements.

Earlier in the day, the actress met the city Police Commissioner and lodged a complaint to take action against Sun TV network, Dhinakaran and Nakkeeran for defaming and intimidating and sought protection for her life. When asked why she is lodging a complaint now after a gap of one and half year she said that it was the change of the Government that made her to do it now as she was afraid of the previous Government that the perpetrators were very close to the exited Government.

The actress could not keep her cool when the reporters repeatedly irritated her with queries on the video footage, and wrapped up the press meet at halfway through.

It seems the actress is all set to take on Sun TV and its associates who are already in trouble with a string of cases slapped against them.
