Los Angeles & San Francisco—August 5, 2011—Lives of Style, the ultimate style & lifestyle “It” broadcast TV show, will air a “Best of Summer” TV special on Sunday August 14th. Donna Karan begins the show, “Hi, I’m Donna Karan. I lead a life of style. If you want to lead a life of style, watch me on Lives of Style,” as scores of other style icons share their own stories and secrets on Lives of Style’s Best of Summer show at 7:30 p.m. in LA on KCAL-9 TV and at 8:00 p.m. in SF on KRON-4 TV.
Viewers get a chance to get “up-close-and-personal” with Kim & Kourtney Kardashian and score the first interview with Kim’s wedding gown designer and Lives of Style’s friend, fashion legend Vera Wang, on the Kardashians.
Famed fashion leader Diane von Furstenberg reveals how she balances her iconic "life-style," Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa shares “psychic” design secrets, and designers Anna Sui and Vivienne Tam showcase their best looks.
Then Lives of Style’s pal—Neiman Marcus’s Creative Director Ken Downing—sums up “must-haves” for this season as the show goes behind the scenes with Council of Fashion Designers’ 2011 Emerging Talent Winner, Prabal Gurung, designers Peter Som and Milly’s Michelle Smith. Then Estee Lauder Chief Make-up Artist Tom Pecheux presents eye-popping make-up tips and Temptu shows how to spray on a fabulous summer look.

Co-executive producer Erin Laurence is a 10-year veteran of ABC Network News, where she produced for Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, World News Tonight, 20/20 and Primetime.
